I’m not sure what you mean, but taking it at the linguistic meaning of “how:” look up pictures, tutorials if you have need. I recommend BabyBatBeauty’s Raven lipstick for a good, waterproof black that really stays. Goth colors are reds, blacks, purples, grays, greens, and white, classically. If you’re aiming for a specific type of Goth, look up pictures of that type to get an idea of the palette. If you’re wanting a lot of pastels, you’re probably wanting Scene makeup, not Goth. Or Lolita Goth if it’s not pastel-themed. If you mean “why:” because they like it and have practiced enough to be skilled enough at makeup to apply Goth makeup. It’s a challenging type of makeup to even apply well, not to mention master.
